DIWALI 2020 FESTIVAL DATES:
This time due to tithi difference between India time and New Zealand time, you may notice communities celebrating Diwali on 14th or 15th. Diwali tithi in New Zealand is starting from 14th evening. Thus 14th night Diwali Puja can be performed. If you follow tithi based on sunrise (सूर्योदय) then Diwali falls on 15th. This is rare situation, and it is fine for community / temple to celebrate Diwali on either 14th or 15th.
