Main day of Raja Sankranti celebration known as Swing Festival popularly celebrated mainly in Odissa state of India.
Pahili Raja or Raja or Raja Parba or Mithun Sankranti is a festival of womanhood celebrated mainly in Odisha state in India. This is 3-4 days festival. The second day Raja Sankranti of the festival signifies beginning of the solar month of Mithun (Gemini zodiac) from, which the season of rains starts. 3rd day is Basi Raja. On 4th day, women bathe the grinding stone as a symbol of mother earth with turmeric paste, adore with flowers and offer all types of fruits.
Women are given break from their household work. They play indoor and outdoor games. This festival is to prepare the earth for the coming rain.

- 2nd Day: Raja Sankranti
- 3rd Day: Bhudaha, Sitala Sashthi, Skanda Sasthi
- 4th Day: Basumati Snan
