Continuing the tradition of this successful festival, we are excited to bring Tiyan Da Mela to Christchurch New Zealand. Teeyan (Punjabi: ਤੀਆਂ) is the Punjabi name of the festival of Teej which is celebrated in Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Nepal and other north and north east states of India. Teej is dedicated to the onset of the monsoon and focuses on daughters and sisters all around the world! Cultural performances, food, dancing, music and something for everyone to enjoy!
